My journey into being a senior designer has been quite interesting! I’ve worked at small startups, as an independant contracter and at some of the largest corporations in America. Sometimes working remote, and sometimes on madison avenue in NYC.
Amoungst it all, I’ve learned who I am as a designer, which is a creative soul who actually enjoys data (to my own surprise) and people. Working with a userbase is so fun and interesting - learning from the direct and indirect interations we have. I cannot wait to continue my career!
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have always held a great interest in nature. For a while I lived in a mountain town in Colorado and learned to slow down a bit. I enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, kayaking, rock climbing and skiing. That being said, now I embrace city life. These historical stunning buildings around me are so inspiring. When I’m stuck at home, you can find me writing poetry, cooking, or working in my art studio.
